I have a Macintosh and want to try the Java-based ebrary Unity Reader.

Unfortunately, at this time, you will be unable to utlize the new ebrary Unity Reader. Apple did recently release Java 1.6, but it is only supported for Leopard (OS X 10.5) and a 64-bit processors. ebrary apologizes for this inconvenience.
