Question/Issue:

I have the Firefox 3 browser on my Macintosh running Leopard, but the ebrary Reader Plug-in does not install or does not work after I install it.

  1. Click here to get the ebrary Reader.plugin file. Save this file in your \Library\Internet Plugins folder on your Macintosh HD.
  2. Quit and restart your browser, click on a book to view and you should be prompted to accept the License Agreement.

Note: If you have Leopard and are using Firefox 3, we recommend you don't use it for ebrary. We have Engineers investigating the details of this issue, but we have had reports from our users with Leopard that Firefox 3 won't work even with trying the work-around. We recommend using Firefox 2.x.x.x (the latest available) instead. We do apologize for this inconvenience.
