What is ebrary QuickView™?
QuickView Facts:
- QuickView
allows users to view and search documents without having to install anything
first. For those users who wish to do so, the full ebrary Reader is still required
to make annotations, use InfoTools™ functions
and copy/print.
- QuickView is currently only available on sites configured to use the ebrary
Reader Java Client. We are planning to have QuickView available on all sites
closer to the end of the year (this schedule is subject to change.)
- A demo site has been set up to allow a preview of both QuickView and the
ebrary Reader Java Client, located here: http://site.ebrary.com/lib/librarycenter2 (no
authentication required)
Note: There is no special QuickView for iPhone. It will work on the iPhone (if your site is enabled for QuickView) simply because the iPhone is equivalent to a small hand-held computer with a browser. ebrary does not support any phone device specifically.
When viewing search results on a site enabled for Java Reader/QuickView, clicking
the link to the document will take you to the QuickView. You will see a "ebrary
Reader" button both in the search results and in the QuickView window, allowing
one to open the document in the ebrary Reader.
