I am an IT/Help Desk person responsible for installing the ebrary Reader on the computers we have here on campus. How can I get an installer for this? Do you have an MSI file to install with?

Solution(s):

We do have a stand-alone version of our installer that you can use to deploy to your computers, both a scriptable installer and an MSI. The scriptable installer comes in a .zip file that includes the following:

• activexinstaller.exe; the executable that will install the plug-in
• Active-X Installer.doc; instructions for deploying the plug-in; including using switches on command line
• installActiveX.bat; a batch file that can be used to install as well and can be edited for your needs
