InfoTools and Menu Options

The InfoTools menu has pre-set defaults for each research related item that can be customized by the library to suit their needs. This is a list of the default options configured.

Default InfoTools Menu Items

Define	Merriam-Webster free site: http://www.m-w.com
Explain	Encyclopedia Britannica free site: http://www.britannica.com
Locate	Locate offers Mapquest, Yahoo! and National Geographic maps.
Translate	All links go through Alta Vista's Babelfish: http://altavista.com/babelfish
Who	The default options utllize Yahoo!'s people.yahoo.com
Search Web	The default options allow one to search via Yahoo!, Google, AltaVista, and Excite, or all of the above.
