Library DirectorWhat trends impacted your
decision to subscribe
to ebrary?• Many of our students have full-time jobs and families and it is difficult for them to visit our ground library. With ebrary, they are able to do a great deal of their research from the comfort of their homes at times that are convenient for them. What issues or problems has ebrary addressed at your library? • We are able to provide our students with more information for less money than with traditional books. Storage is also a problem. We do not have a facility that is large enough to house the 23,000 electronic books that ebrary provides. What do you and your patrons like best about ebrary’s technology? • Our patrons like being able to access the materials from home. Most of them are comfortable with computers and understand how to research using technology. What do you and your patrons like best about ebrary’s content? • We like the sheer number of books that are available, and ebrary’s content coincides with our curriculum. How does ebrary compare to other digital resources at your library? • Students are able to do a little more in depth research using ebrary.
