What are the trends and issues that impacted your decision to subscribe to ebrary?

We chose ebrary because our students will soon be going to college, and we want them to have experience in using the most advanced technological resources. In our opinion the available ebrary titles bring depth and value to the collection. Our faculty use ebrary as well for their own research.

What do you and your patrons like best about ebrary's technology?

  • Ability to save highlights, notes and bookmarks and personal bookshelves
  • Anytime, anywhere access—can pull up saved annotations and continue research
  • Speed in retrieving search results,  individual documents, etc.
  • Indexes allow students to locate specific information in the book

What is your favorite InfoTools feature?

The ability to search within a document in ebrary is extremely helpful. Additionally, students can copy segments in the book that are useful to them, and paste into Word or other applications as they see fit, with automatic citations and URL hyperlinks back to the source.

What do you and your patrons like best about ebrary's content?

We appreciate that ebrary covers a broad range of subject areas, and that titles are constantly updated. There is something in ebrary for everybody.

What do students think of ebrary?

Our students are very savvy, and they find the expanded access to the wide variety of subjects useful and valuable. We taught them how to use ebrary and they just flew with it.
